MAGICKOWPOODISCO

Qujunktions and Museums at Night present
at Bristol City Museum & Art Gallery,
May 17th 2014 ........

Many moons ago, on a special day in May, villagers would gather round their cow in anticipation, applauding and cheering every splat that fell from its rear. Magick was happening. The more pats that thudded on the earth, the more fruitful the village’s crops would be that year.
Artist and composer Ergo Phizmiz will take visitors on a multimedia family disco adventure into the wild and wonderful medieval magick rituals of England and Europe. With music, masks, projections, massive heads, and puppetry, accompanied by lots of dancing to modern pop hits and nostalgic novelties.

Ergo's Disco Van Dango

Goodness gracious. Lock up your daughters in Bee Gees torture chambers. Ergo's Disco Van is back in town.

The fifth instalment, "Ergo's Disco Van Dango" presents three grooveobelisks for your sexual delectation.

Take off your shoes, dance like a maniac, put your shoes back on, dance again but enjoying the protection of that finely crafted fabric helmet that protects your floor-hands.

Crafted in the living room, lots of tea, jigs, and a bottle of Guinness.

New, free EP - Ergo's Disco Van Morrisons

Oh dear hell. Ergo's Disco Van is chugging into town again, with more slabs of disjointed mustard-groove to dance the night away in red hot shoes until you are dead.

This installment of the ongoing Disco Van series is called Ergo's Disco Van Morrisons, and is dedicated to all those musical artists who have their work stocked exclusively by supermarkets, putting themselves on a par with ready-meals and shrink-wrapped beef.

As the old saying goes, if music be the food of love, go to Tescos.

New Ergo Phizmiz EP: Ergo's Disko Van Dysko

Ladies and Gentlemen, put that razor away and put on your dancing shoes. The third instalment of Ergo's Disco Van has careered into town in a hazy mist of steam and wine.

This edition, "Ergo's Disko Van Dysko", is dedicated to Dick Van Dyke and his remarkable dancing shoes.

Four slabs of uberdisco, replenished with the stench of a fat man at the end of the night in the discotheque.

TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS.

STEAL SOME WHITE BROGUES.

KNOCK ON PEOPLE'S DOORS THEN RUN AWAY.

DRINK IMPROVISED COCKTAILS AND TAP YOUR FOOT UNTIL IT SMARTS A BIT.
